The COVID19 pandemic has exposed and amplified entrenched socioeconomic inequalities and health disparities among underserved communities. Increased testing and upcoming vaccinations are two important ·strategies to manage COVID19.
North Carolina Central University proposed to establish and Advanced Center for COVID19
Related Disparities (ACCORD) to address this public health emergency and conduct multidisciplinary research to study the public health and economic impact of COVID19 on underserved communities of North Carolina to include Halifax County.
